'My work is my passion'
Ewelina Sadownik is the founder of Communicate Better English. Originally from Poland she came to live in Derby in 2008 to pursue her dream of living and studying in the UK.
She graduated Psychology and Sociology at the University of Derby in 2014 . This knowledge has helped her develop good relationships with people and understand their needs and concerns. She is educated to the degree level in children and adults' development and has a personal interest in this subject. In Poland she was studying English and German in a teaching degree.
She has a broad experience teaching both children and adults in Poland and the UK, including working as a Teaching Assistant in local schools in and around Derby and as an interpreter in local NHS services.
Throughout this whole time she has been working as a freelance English-Polish interpreter. Thanks to her English proficiency and extensive knowledge in many subjects she has been able to help hundreds of Polish people with their everyday problems and more serious legal issues.
In her own words:
“My passion is to help others. I understand that some people struggle to live a normal life in the UK because of the language barrier. Which is why, in January 2014, I started Communicate Better English”
